Week1

I completed the Masters in Library and Information Studies in University College Dublin in September 2010. There are not many opportunities for graduates in this area in Ireland at the moment. I am currently working in retail. I am following this course online because I am interested in maintaining my skills and keeping in touch with what is going on in the world of library and information studies.

    Hello Annmarie. I'm one of the people updating the list of cod23 participants on Delicious (http://delicious.com/cpd23/participants). Is it OK if I tag you with the 'unemployed' tag? It's a bit brutal, but there have been a few people looking for library jobs finding each other's blogs already and might be useful?

    Hello Katie, Yes it is okay to tag me with the "unemployed" tag. The job I am doing now is just until I can get a job in my chosen career. I am looking for work in the area of library and information studies.
